Design Studio

In our design work, we’ve always been deeply inspired by how California culture is enriched by global influences—colors, textures, food, language, and ideas as well as fashion, form, and designed spaces.  Our embrace of different cultures encourages us to reach farther, beyond the expected, when designing custom solutions for our clients. 

Inspiration

Our in-house design services include concept development, construction documentation drafting, and 3D modeling and rendering, ranging on a scale from furniture and objects to buildings. Some of our clients stop by to work with us in person at our office on Potrero Hill, but we work remotely with clients all over the world just as easily. 

Our skilled designers—who each hold M.Archs from leading programs—also collaborate on projects with architects and interior designers, using the latest design tools alongside our own software platform. We pride ourselves on being, as one satisfied client shared, “responsive, dedicated, professional, and a total pleasure to work with.”

Karol Horr is a Designer at Panafold. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Community Design from University of San Francisco and a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts.

He is half Iranian and half Filipino and was born and raised in Iran. He loved seeing his father practice architecture since childhood and has been always excited and passionate about starting his architecture career.

His interests stem from various design-research techniques and iterative transformations of output to explore meaningful opportunities to provide innovative, project-specific design solutions that holistically integrate environmental, social, economic, and political factors.

Outside architecture he loves traveling, camping, and spending time with his family and his dogs.

Karol Horr is a Designer at Panafold. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Community Design from University of San Francisco and a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts.

Bianca Lin is a designer and maker interested in delivering narratives through her drawings and design, ranging from urban planning to object scale. She is also interested in model making, visualization, and detail construction.

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Bianca now resides in New York City as an architectural designer and client outreach for Panafold Studio.

She holds an M.Arch from Columbia University GSAPP and a B.Arch from California College of the Arts, and has worked in architecture offices in Taipei, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.

Isaac Li is a designer interested in building environmentally responsible, yet socially connected, healthy living communities. 

He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and is currently completing his Master of Architecture at UC Berkeley.
